While most of the world is enjoying budding flowers and warm spring weather, I’m going to pull out a winter post that will hopefully warm your hearts even more than the weather. You may remember our sweet Pauline & Todd’s Montreal engagement session here. Well they tied the knot on New Year’s Day in our home town of Edmonton. Pauline & Todd are as dear to us as our own children, and it was an extra special and extremely emotional day for us. The best advice I can ever give a bride of mine asking what she should do to have the best wedding pictures from us is this: just forget about the cameras and soak up every moment of your day. This is something I knew I’d never have to tell Pauline because she is someone who truly lives IN the moment. Every second she has with a person special to her is absorbed by her whole being. She’s full of laughs and surprises, even strapping on her electric bass to play during the church worship. As a fellow bass chick, I admit to shedding an extra tear of pride at that moment. As a couple, Pauline & Todd have hearts that can never give enough or love too much. They are up for any kind of adventure, including letting their bridal party throw handfuls of snow at them for a wedding picture. Pauline & Todd, our lives are honestly changed because of you and we hope to bless you back with love we poured into capturing your wedding day.
